Features:

Galvanized steel silos are buildings or groups of buildings made of steel plates used for storing items. Compared to traditional warehouses, large steel plate silos have the following characteristics. Large steel plate silos include several types such as steel plate silos, steel plate warehouses, spiral coiled plate silos, and welded steel plate silos.

• Advanced Design: Based on more than 20 patents related to shape and internal structure, the scientific design concept allows for silo diameters ranging from 2 to 32 meters, which can be increased further based on special requirements. The ratio of height to diameter is generally between 1:1.1 and 1:2. They can be built into linear, triangular, square, single-row, or multi-row configurations of silos (warehouses) or silo (warehouse) groups according to site and manufacturer requirements.
• Unique Structure: The silo body is cylindrical, with conical roofs and bottoms, and the foundation is frustum-shaped or conical.
• Large Storage Capacity: Each silo can hold 10 to 15,000 tons, and larger storage groups can be formed by combining multiple silos.
• Convenient Entry: Depending on the material and manufacturer’s situation, materials can be loaded into the silo through elevators, flow pipes, or pneumatic pipelines.

The flat bottom bins are made of high quality 275g/m2, 300g/m2, 350g/m2 hot-dip galvanized steel plates which are rolled into corrugation and made into standard connecting holes. The vertical friction is support by the steel silo stiffeners which are evenly vertically applied in the silos. The connecting screw bolts are served with round galvanized steel washers, the connecting holes are served with age-resistant and water-proof daub belts that are for aviation special purpose.These plates and stiffeners are connected by high-strength screw bolts to keep the flat silo strong and durable. The flat bottom silos are equipped with flat repairing doors, outside ladder and ladder guard rings.

The special trapezoidal geometry of roof gives high strength and stiffness, the professional sealed technology enables tight connection of roof with the sidewall and keeps stored products from moisture.

Access ladder, door for easy maintenance!

High-strength galvanized ladders have roll-formed sides and stamped rungs to eliminate rung spin for easily climbing, the access doors gives the second ring to access to the interior of the silo.

Sweeper at the bottom of silo!

Sweeper is designed and installed to pick up the remains of stored products and provide good flow
through gravity (like wheat, maize, barley, grains and granules, etc.) in the bottom of the flat silos. It automatically starts up once the gravity flow has completely finished. It will clean up the remained material at a rotation of 360º inside the storage silo.

Smart design for concrete silo base!

The cement cone base will be applied to automatically unload stored products when the capacity is big and flat bin diameter is less than 12m. The half-cone base or flat base will be constructed when the silo diameter is more than 12m. Half-cone base can’t completely unload the stuff, it needs to unload stuff with a spiral sweeper. Cement base has a mediate price and a long construction period.
